Boro is a quaint little Italian store with big dreams. Their new Spring Summer Collection is a sublime blend of music and art. In their own words, Boro tells us:
Made in Italy, since 2008, graphic visions translated on clothes.
It all began with a DJ, Antonio “BORO” Diaconale, who was trying to synthetize in a single language, the ocean of sensations in wich we are immersed: music & art, dance & trade, past centuries and future mysteries, cohabitation of cultures and mondi lontanissimi (ref. Franco Battiato).
“…after all, clothing is a daily design of oneself…”
Their collection is a mixture of two major themes, firstly the Space Series which imbibes the mood of exploration and evolution amidst the subject of the cosmos. Their other theme DJ Series revolves around their collaboration with various DJ's assimilating their musical inspiration into graphic art.
Another aspect of Boro's design that caught my eye is their distinctive use of typography. From the pleasing cursive based tees to the more retro type on the Jeko tee complement the design perfectly.
Brand Boro is based in Italy and do not seem to have an online store yet, and will be coming up shortly...or if you fancy a little drive to up to sunny Italia, you can go get it yourself.
